We did it, we got our new C-Dory home! This has sure been an exciting experience for myself and Alisa. Watching E. Q. Marine put this package together was really something. I can not begin to say enough about what a pleasure it was to deal with them. The pride they took in delivering our boat today almost choked me up, it was really special.

Tomorrow we will start fishing, Possession Bar is our first stop to try to get the first blood on the boat. If the boat works half as good as it looks we should have our limits quick.

I put some pictures in the album and will post more soon. Thanks also goes out to the great people here in providing some very useful information on setting things up and things to consider down the road.

Alisa and Wayne, Great looking boat. Congratulations!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I think that Evinrude 90 E-TEC is a great choice for the 19.

Congrats on your new boat. I saw it at EQ when I was up there last weekend. I was looking over the 22' that they are rigging at the same time as yours. Yours was on the left side of it. GREAT LOOKING BOAT. I saw that you had the 90 E TEC on it with an Evinrude kicker also.

How quite is the E TEC engine?

We went fishing on Possession Bar on Sept. 31 and Oct 1. The boat ran very well. For the first 2 hours the E-Tec pumps double the oil to the fuel so it had the normal 2 cycle smell at that time. After that it had no smell at all even after trolling all day long. The sound of the E-Tec is very quite and a very pleasant tone, I am very happy with the motor so far.

Fishing was slow but we did get a fish both days. Alisa got a 7lb on Thursday and an 11lb on Friday(pic of 11lb in album). Ya she always out fished me with our last boat and seems to be off to the same start with this boat :? . We had a blast, it is so great to be back to what we both enjoy so much.
