C-Dorys vs. Crab, Columbia River

Actually, that is a picture of Tom and Rene's haul. They got 19, we got 12, we gave 6 to my son in law and 6 to Tom and Rene.
The crabs have been sparse in the river the last few trips. The recent higher tides plus all the rain have put a lot of debris in the river and the rain all over the place has diluted the salt water at the mouth so the little crabbies are staying farther out toward the ocean. That's my theory, anyhow.
But it was great to see the Primative crew again. The year is not complete without Rene taking a picture of the boat for us.
