C-Dorys in Hawaii

Go to the Home Page. Click on "The Brat Map" at the top of the page. You can see there, if you poke around, all of the C-Brats that are in Hawaii.

The only ones on the map are those who have put zip codes in their profile because that's how they get on the map.

There are 6 shown in Hawaii.

Aloha wapiti:
That is the boat I am thinking about buying.
I live on a different island so I would have to ship it over to my island.

Do you live on the big island in Hilo? I have a friend that used to take his 22 ft wellcraft and go from honolulu to Kona to fish .I guess it depends what Island and how the weather is

These boats are used quite extensivly up in alaska waters and you can get some mighty big swells up there I think set up proberly twins or kicker enough fuel , Gps, erirp, and good weather it might be an enjoyable trip . Good Luck in your quest

Boy, IMO a C-Dory is NOT the boat to have in Hawai'i. JMO, but the waters there require a deep-V or you'll get your you-know-what kicked each day. I've run into some small chop up here similiar to a mild day back home and had to slow way down, even w/ the bow down and properly trimmed; I can only imagine back home. The boat may be OK in Kona, due to the flat water conditions, but anywhere else around the State...

Aloha Local Boy:
This is just what I was looking for. Someone who has lived here or still does that has fished a C- Dory. I live on the island of Kauai. Rough waters most of the time.
I was wondering about the flat bottom and how it would ride.
Still looking for other responce and how they ride here.
Good looking boat.
