Was only a thought considering the fact that the boat will be wet year round; a possible do it once application! Other glass boats I've owned, seem to have needed bottom paint every 5 years or so. It is a pain and expensive!

If you're leaving it in the water - especially salt water - every year or 2 is to be expected. 5 years between new coats is generally way too long.

That was fresh water in a fully enclosed boathouse. This is fresh water, dock side. May be more frequently than the last boat.

Where are you located on the lower Columbia? The C-Dory is a great boat for the conditions encountered around here.

Not too far from Puget Island. Once you close the deal on your C-Dory be sure to take a cruise down River and visit the Elochoman Marina in Cathlamet. There are a couple of us C-Dory owners hanging out down here - a 25' and a 22'. Good luck with the boat.

Yeah you bet, I used to visit there with the old boat and walk into town and have lunch. A nice place! Probably an hour diwnriver; be a nice cruise with the family. Take care!
