I am located in the PNW and have never owned a boat. I have an eye on the c-dory 22 and 25 boats and was hoping someone might be willing to show me around there's and possible take me out on the water.

To give back to community and also provide you with perhaps new experience, I'm willing to return the favor in the form of a scenic airplane ride...

I am also looking at those two boats but am in east coast. There are many c-dory around here. If you could provide feedback on this site of your thoughts on both I would appreciate it. I have read through most of the archives of posts. Just looking for your 2 cents. Thanks. Good luck.

I would love to show you around a 22. They are wonderful NW boats. I live on South Whidbey but could meet sometime in Edmonds Marina

Hello planning on going out again this Friday Columbia River, Longview Wa[/img]

WA500, If you can't get connected with any of the above, I'm a bit farther away, Sequim, and will be on the water later this week or next. I'd even take you out without the plane ride, but that is a really nice offer.

You need to look at what your use is going to be, and how many ore going to be on board regularly. There is more than just 3 feet in length difference between the 22 and the 25. There is also some towing consideration that may come to play.

Send a PM to whomever you want, or all, and get some perspective. Having never owned a boat, there are considerations. If you own a plane, you will likely have many of the same issues, maintenance and storage are big. I would recommend a good boating safety education course to, to kind of get your feet wet, and hopefully that will help not having to get them wet later.

Best in your decisions.
