C-Dory to the rescue!

This is why I hate the news. Newscaster says the Plane fell from the sky. eye witness said he was making a normal ending and then screwed up the last second. So which was it. This is why I don't trust the news at all anymore. They can't report the truth without making it sound more than what it was.

who cares about the plane…there's a C-Dory in the picture!

true though, most reporting is worthless. make a big story out of nothing or leave out details to push an agenda…whether out of malicious intent or ratings.

but hey, want to get out for blackmouth one day? areas 9/10 have been on fire!

They have news to put out, Tom - they don't have time to get all accurate about this stuff. When you get to be my age, you find that "hate" takes up too much energy, when simple "distain" will suffice.

Sorry to hear about the aircraft accident, but that is a cute 16.

The facts are that reporters are not our best and brightest. I was interviewed many times about rocket launches from Kennedy and Vandenberg AFB. Almost every reporter, no matter how hard I tried, said in the published or broadcast version of their story that the payload was launched on the space shuttle though I never launched a payload into space on anything other than unmanned rockets.

They simply have a predetermined view of everything like, "the airplane fell from the sky." That is just better in their minds than, "the plane flipped over at touchdown."

Crashes are never good, but in this case there are survivors. The bird is an ultralight so landing speeds are lower and if the video is shot shortly after the crash I'll bet "glassy water" will be found to contribute. Landing on water when it's very calm is a major challenge. Nice 16 to come help out.
