Hello to all,

Our 22 Cruiser has been sold. While we were in Fair port on our cruise, Steve the manager of the Macedon Marina saw our sign on the boat. We gave him our phone number, he said one of his customers wanted a C-Dory.

The next day we got a call from Jim Whitney of Macedon. We agreed that when we returned from points west we would get together so he could see C-Trek. When we returned to Fairport Jim came to look and talk. Jim has wanted a C-Dory for a long time. We really enjoyed talking about C-Dorys with him. Making a long story short, Jim is the new owner of a 22 Cruiser with a Honda 90 and a few stray cat hairs from Mr. Grey.

Jim will make a wonderful C-Brat. He has followed our forum and is amazed at how helpful everyone is. Jim lives in Macedon, his home overlooks the canal. The boat will be kept at the Midlakes Macedon Marina. Midlakes is the leading hireboat company on the canal. They invented and built the current hire boats. steve at the marina helped Jim and I with the paper work. Our C-Dory is lucky to have such a nice owner. Jim really takes care of things and is a good boat keeper.

Jim will soon make himself known to you all and make his first post as a C-Dory owner. I know he will be welcomed.

I don't know how my original post ended up under fresh water systems. Our boat has been sold to Jim Whitney of Macedon, NY. He is a really neat guy and he reported to me that he spent last night on the boat and he slept really well. Please welcome Jim to the C- Brat family.

Thanks

Hi Fred and all,

Good news on Pat's health after the last blood work. Her kidneys continue to work at 23%. That means that we don't have to do dialysis in the near future. Our boating is on hold until after she receives a transplant.

The new owner of C-Trek is a really nice man. He will be keeping his boat at the Macedon Marina right on the canal. Jim is even more of a boat care nut than I was, he has already cleaned and polished and made some nice mods.

He will introduce himself on this site soon. I feel really good that our dory has a good home.

Pat and Fred,

My prayers will be with Pat. As you know, I consider her to be one of my HEROS. For a gal with a few problems, she stayed in the thick of things. I told Sheila about Pat and the other problems and the wheel chair. I also told her about the great guy in her life who pushes the wheel chair around so Pat does not miss a thing. After meeting Pat, I felt NOBODY has an excuse not to enjoy boating and camping with the RoadTrek (You are not selling that?)

Lets keep in touch.

Fred
