C-Dory Sightings

Joe - good looking boat. Get your self a cheap graphics (photo) program like Adobe Photoshop Elements and with one mouse click you can correct a lot of your photos. It cost 79 to 99 depending where you get it.

Your photo . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . lightened photo

Now you can't make a bad photo good but you can improve them. I have shrunk these so it does not help. In a larger photo like your originals they look even better.

Never too old to go-go into a new business venture!

Sell that freezer and we'll use the proceeds to serve up the offerings!

It's just 1/4 mile off I-5 with 45,000 vehicles per day passing through!

There's also the main line of Union Pacific on the lower deck of the bridge.

We could bring trainloads of customers in on rail.

I'll start buying up more boats tomorrow!

The ad for girls goes in Craig's List tonight!

We'll have a C-Brat Convention here just before the Seattle Boat Show to tune everybody up!

You can quit your teaching job tomorrow on the expected profits.

Look out Bill Gates, we're closing in on ya' on the Fortune and Forbes 500 lists.

Joe.

Hot damn, that sounds like a plan, I'll give my notice next week. You could anchor that rascal in some quiet bay and use the Four Winns as a shuttle,or, pimp boat, cut down on the fuel expenses that way

At about 18:20 hrs I saw a C-Dory on I-5 north bound at mile post 92 about 10 miles south of Olympia, WA. I believe it was a 22. I was going southbound and the median was too wide to read the name at the speeds we were going. I wounder if it was someone heading for Sequim?

I saw the "Shearwater" going north on I-5 on Saturday, 10/7/06. At first I wasn't sure it was a C-dory owing to the lack of windows on the back of the cabin. I see here on this web site it's a 95 Cruise Ship 25. Was that a one-off? That's way earlier than the new 25's started being built. Nice boat but I wondered what the scoop was on that model.

We were looking for you in Newport. Talked to Steve as he was putting Shearweater back on the trailer. Spotted two other C-Dorys, a gray trimmed 22' with no name and a 22' on a trailer behind a motorhome. Can't remember the name. Something "Rose".
We did catch 26 crab. We put on a crab feed Sat. night.
Mmmmmmm Mmmmmmmm Gooooooood!!!!!!

We didn't head over last Saturday until after the grandson's football game in Gladstone -- they got creamed again, but it was their closest game yet :)

Ramblin Rose...they're from Sherwood...nice folks. I don't know about the gray trimmed 22....sorry Steve's pulled Shearwater...we missed hooking up with him!

Yes, the crabbing has been wonderful...we set one pot Sunday while we fished the tournament (got skunked fishing) and had 2 nice crabs for our dinner when we got home.

Steve's off hunting this coming weekend, so I have to amuse myself and suffer the fishing withdrawals solo :cry but it's supposed to start raining next week, so maybe it'll bring some fish into the Yaquina! Sure hope so, or our coworkers and family will be skimped for smoked salmon dip this year!

We'll pull the boat the end of this month, and we're both looking forward to doing some sturgeon fishing out of St. Johns....always fishing, eh? :-)

I saw a brand new 2006- or 2007 C-Dory 22 Cruiser moored at Bridge Bay Marina #1 yesterday, which is where I keep my CD-22 and Sea Ray 265 Sedan Bridge.

Don't know anything about the new owner, but will leave a note on the boat the next time I'm up there in a day or two.

I'll ask them if they know of our website or are registered here. No name on the boat yet.

Nice to have another C -Dory on Shasta Lake!

Joe.

Late this afternoon we stopped by EQ Marine to admire their nice selection of new C-Dorys on display. After leaving EQ we checked out the Cornet Bay boat launch. That's when we noticed a CD in the parking lot. At first Joe thought the name was LUNA-C (Joe needs to start wearing his glasses ALL the time) but this guy sure didn't look like Chris. Turns out this C-Dory is named the LANA C and it's a 19. Nice folks. Owners are Lana & Kimo. Their son's name is Kenoi. They're aware of the C-Brat site.

And.....speaking of the LUNA-C, we actually did meet up with Chris and Janet just outside the entrance to Skyline Marina, Sunday October 2. We were returning to Bellingham after our weekend at Sequim. Quite a surprise to recognize them out there in Puget Sound as they were in a different boat that day.

This Saturday while at Angel Island I saw a new looking green CD25. The boat was at the day use docks. I paddled my kayak by the boat and went ashore but did not see the owner. I went back to my boat and fell asleep. When I woke up they were gone.

I don't remember the name but it looked like a South Pacific name. Anyone know of this boat?

Steve

Last weekend we saw 3 C-Dory in Fort Bragg. Blue & White MS Holli, Red & White Pesca Dory, from Truckee and Sweet Mystery also Red & White Looked like they were all outfitted for fishing.

This kindof makes me sick. Looks like you get a real nice selection. color looks decided, as does your choice of engines  No character there.
