C-Dory Sightings

There's also another 22' C-Dory in Bellingham (green trim with full green canvas) docked north of Redden Marine. We checked on it a few weeks ago and the bottom is covered with slime. Looks like someone isn't using it & hasn't been around to maintain it either. It is registered. Sorry - a senior moment here but can't recall its name.

Unless I'm mistaken, congratulations are in order

Good eye my friend! Yes, and thank you. This is my "new" C-Dory 16. I just couldn't get along with out one any longer. Found this one at EQ Marine.
I was going to get a 22, but decided that with the type of cruising that I do, this will be just about perfect.

I will be posting more about the mods that I have planned, and I will be at Fisherman's Terminal and Friday Harbor.

Way to go Robbi! You know we love you, it just would not be the same without you in the fold!

Congratulations Robbi on the new to you boat.

I'm not sure if it counts as a c-dory sighting but I spotted the official c-brat beer here at the local Fred Meyer in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Specifically it is the Steam Train Porter from Snowqualmie Falls Brewing Co. Of course I had to make a purchase to help support our local c-brat brewers and I can highly recommend it.

Jim, of course that counts! Thanks for the report! And thanks for your support!

Unnamed 16' in green trim at Barkers Landing on Lake Superior WI

Saw what appeared to be a 22 on the Santa Rosa Sound in the panhandle of Florida this afternoon. It was slowly heading south out of the channel near marker 96 just west of Juana's Pagodas on Navarre Beach. It was too far away from the house for me to make out the color or name. Anyone know who it was?

Just saw Halcyon heading up 9th street in downtown Tacoma. Not something I see every day at work.

Heading home from doing some gel coat repair on the tomcat I saw Kestrel at the Bellingham boat launch.

Cindie -
Wow, we better check our GPS. Here we thought we were at Chatfield Reservoir CO, and the sign said Welcome to Tacoma.

On our way to Tacoma Boat for Tyler to spruce up the engines and steering cables. And, we discovered, 9th street isn't the direct route - but Halcyon simply wanted to see downtown Tacoma on a weekday.

Good eyes.

It's the little transponder under your trailer that let's us know where you are. George.

Yikes, George, do you work for Google?

Nope, I work for gas money...mow lawns etc . Thinking of putting in a bid to :idea buy Google though. you in? G

Seattle King 5 news did a thing on tsunami debris at F. Terminal tonight. There was a red 16' with a Honda engine in the background. There for the gathering no doubt. I will be fishing around Webster Point tomorrow

That would have been Fred and Robbin's 16!

Checkpoint II with Chromer and his dad, flying up to (what else?) fish at Webster Point, Lake Washington. A beautiful sight.

Just in Ladysmith Harbor anchored for a nap. Overnighted at Thetis Island marina after 2 nights in Wallace Island. Gorgeous weekend. Sunshine and flat water. The spot in behind Dunsmuir Island which is owned by Seattle YC off the first nations village is a wonderful secure spot. Sand bottom with all around protection. Dinner at Thetis was interesting. The pub is open. Were looking forward to a burger and beer. The menu was chili or barley soup with a bun. Carolyn had the soup I took chili. Both yummy. I had a pale ale from Granville Island brewery. Showers after, cruising is good! Carolyn is great crew. We go full time c dorying in Sept. Kerri On runs like a champ. Pottering at 6 knots or flying at 25 all systems go.

I was having lunch at the Bradenton (FL) Yacht Club this afternoon.
Across the channel I spotted 25' CD on a lift. Name on the boat was the "Bill-O".
I searched the site but can't seem to find any membership info. :(
