Looking at your profile, your a long way from home. Welcome to the great North West and the C-Brat pub
We bought our boat in WI , Door county. We spent a few days exploring Green Bay. Pretty country but the winters are TOO severe for me

We (wife, son and me) keep her at Skyline, Condo 18. Sea Critter is a 2004 purchased last fall from a nice gentleman in La Conner (I don't think was active C-Brat). Still learning (most of my boat time is sailing) and was lucky to get an afternoon with David "Anna Leigh" to get some docking lessons and other great tips. This is my first post but I hope not the last. I have really enjoyed this site and all the great info, tips and humor.

Dennis, hello from another Skyline Marina resident! I live a couple of blocks from the marina, and keep my boat in Condo 17, D-8. That is the section with the low brick fence around the gated parking lot and the gated docks. Right now neither of our boats is in the water but I will be putting the C-22 in quite soon. Where are you moored?

Dennis, Welcome to the C-Brats. BTW, you have some pretty nice neighbors, (Warren and Lori) there.

Traveling west towards Forks, WA on Thursday, we spotted a Red red, (that would be Claret) 22 Cruiser, Name on the Transom was "Little Toot or something, I was reading it in the rearview mirror, going past the lake with an oncoming log truck  no time for a double take. Got off a couple of light blinks but maybe not in time.

Just might have been our buddy Bill the Lurker, but haven't confirmed that yet.

Mike and Brenda on GYPSY, doing the great loop, spotted another C-Dory a few days ago names.... Joe something.... up in the Crystal Springs River area.... and could not even shout on the VHF due to winds/currents.. So, if any of you know or are Joe... then the crew on GYPSY asked me to give a belated Howdie!

Warren, I am in F-5 which I think is pretty muc traight over from your slip. I drive by where you live (I thought maybe there was a new local C-Dory dealer) on way to my mother-in-law. I also live in Anacortes closer to old town. Hope to meet you soon. Dennis

Driving along the main road in Burnt Ground on Long Island in the Bahamas last week, and spotted this C-Dory. The name was faded, but it looked like Dor's Voyager.

I always get a charge to see a new or different C-Dory here in the Midwest. Of all things, I walked out of the bank I work at tonight, and in the back yard of the house adjacent to the bank was the Mattie J. She was getting cleaned up by the homeowner, who also happened to be a USCG licensed captain. (Actually, I think he said he had a "master" captain's license?)

Anyway, the boat had been donated by the previous owner, "ted harvey", who is a Brat, to the Sea Scouts, a part of the Boy Scouts of America (www.seascout.org). The head of the local Sea Scouts knew this fellow had his captain's license and contacted him because AT&T is filming a commercial with the Sea Scouts, and apparently AT&T (or their advertising firm) knew about and wanted a C-Dory featured in the ad! Cool. The deal is, and I assume for insurance purposes, the film crew requires the boat be piloted by a licensed captain. Hence, this fellow.

Pretty convoluted, eh?

Pardon my ramblings...I really wanted to tell you all that I saw another, rare in my world, C-Dory today in Edwardsville, Illinois. AND, it sounds like one of our boats may be featured in an AT&T ad with the Sea Scouts.

Here's the Mattie J:

Saw Warren (Lori Ann) on I-5 south of Bellingham minus the Tomcat. Easy to spot with those Doryman plates on the pickup. Wished we could have talked boats for a bit.

I was going to post the sighting but you guys beat me to it! I assume you were on your way home from Canada?

The Pink Ribbon Comedy Tour passed Luna C on I-5 (us going north, they going south) yesterday as we headed toward Arlington to see my parents. Then today we saw two more on the same stretch of road today. It's really hard to see all the folks out with the boats when I don't get to until the tour is done. Looking forward to the Seattle shows this weekend though.

Son was sitting at a riverside establishment on the San Bernard River south of Houston and reported seeing a 25' gray trimmed C-Dory pass by. ???

Out for my run around Lake Union this evening and came upon the original 22' NancyH. She's on a trailer in front of one of the dealers on the W side of the lake near the old location of the LUSR dealership. She's looking a little faded and in need of a good wax job.

I was in Mobile, AL, on Tuesday. Saw a CD 25 on stands at Dog River Marina. No name on the boat. Looked like it just had the bottom painted and some paint or repair on the swim platform.

I spotted a C-Dory cruising west on the Intracoastal Waterway behind our house this morning and then back east this afternoon. It took a loop up to Juana's at the Navarre bridge and then continued on to the east. I did not get a close enough look to tell what model it was or what the name was. It looked like it may have been a 25.

Spotted a photo with 2 C-Dorys:

Just picked up the May 2010 issue of Northwest Yachting. I have been following the article "Cruising Guide to the Pacific Northwest 2010" and on page 33, top left hand corner, there is a photo of Lagoon Cove, an entrance to the Broughton Island cruising grounds. Without even squinting much, I found 2 C-Dorys. Too small to read the names, but there they are in real print.

A Green camper back, with inflatable on top and forward, and the other on is a light color stripe and maybe a tan or gold canvass. (Author Mark Bunzel just didn't compose this photo just quite right for complete identification).

Anybody want to own up to being there? Good on ya'

ON edit, Link to the Nortwest Yachting web site: May issue is not up as of May 1, 2010.

Last week of March. We were headed west on I 70 out of Denver in a snow storm. Saw a CD22 headed east out of the mountains towards Denver.
