Hello! We're hoping to buy a used C-Dory 25' Cruiser shortly. We're former sailors, new to the Bellingham area, and definitely new to C-Dorys. ANY advice, warnings, and recommendations would be welcome. One specific area of concern for us is that the C-Dory has a flat bottom and will therefore handle very differently from the keelboats we're used to, and also differently from the deep-V hulled, 24'6" powerboat I grew up with. Another concern is the currents in the Samish Sea: are they significantly different than those in the Gulf Islands and the Strait of Georgia (where we used to sail)?
