My friends here in Bozeman MT listed their very well equipped, Ben Toland built, high top 22 on CL this week. Asking $31,900.

I'll vouch for "Cousin" Charless's and Marjorie's Boat. I have been aboard it, and as all of his boats it is well cared for--and a good buy for someone! (OK we really are cousins 10 x removed).
 
Interesting ad. I am trying to figure out how this is a "High Top" as the top is the same as a standard 22 cruiser top. (Given that a "high top" rise top goes above the grab rails. This looks like a standard top. Curious how it gets the "High Top" nomenclature?

Since there aren't very many "High Tops", that make this one more rare.

Hi Harvey,

As I recall, the distance between the bottom of the window frame and deck is taller. It appears the factory added height to the cabin walls (around the windows) not to the shape of the top. At least this is what I had concluded a few years ago when we had my 22 (1998 C-Dory Grace) parked side by side with Vagabundo.

Technically I guess it's not a high top but a raised top.

Vagabundo is getting winterized tomorrow and put away for the season. Charless and Marjorie will be heading south for the winter soon. If anyone is interested act fast or check with me in the spring.
