C Dory 22 Center Console

I have been unable to find any info on the 22 cc which C dory used to make. I don't see it even listed on their old website, nor do I see any mention of it here. I know they made them in 2008. They come with a portapotti but I don't know if it fits in and is usable in the console itself. Any information on the boat would be appreciated. Is the center console 22 actually a regular 22 without a cabin? Thanks in advance, Kevin
 
The 22 Center Console is the same 22 hull, with stringers added to allow up to 150 horses to be hung on the back, and a molded deck / cockpit.

Fit and finish were nice, but the advantages of the C-Dory hull may not translate to the use that most buyers would want to subject a center console to- especially when compared to the wider deep v options out there.

Nice review on the CC. Great pics too. It looks like a very pretty boat. I think it would be good for lake fishing and relaxing. Again, is there any room to speak of in the console? Kevin
 
Hi Kevin,

I sure didn't see any access or enough room for a porta-potty in the console. Maybe up towards the bow, but no privacy. I'm sure Marc or one of the other dealers will correct me if I missed it.

I saw one last summer on Lake Washington. It looked like it came out of Coulon, circled around my boat (Whaler, not C-Dory), and headed back in. I was swimming at the time, otherwise I would have followed it and tried to get more info. But it was a neat looking boat and would work well for an efficient runabout in the right climate.
 
I am quite enjoying mine ! The console is used for batteries and has a small lunch cooler inside it which I removed and added safety gear,dual batteries and life jackets . It was not designed for the Potty . The potty goes in essentially the same spot as the 22 Cruiser or Angler . Just no cabin . If someone needed it, a towel or pop up enclosure like the pontoon boats use would work .Im running a Honda EFI 90 on mine [30MPH]and the 2 boats I have have Stainless Tee Tops from Tanner , bow rails and full cushions on the bow area. I have one still factory wrapped and for sale , and may sell the other ,but a makes a great rental and loaner boat . I plan to do some diving with it and have done some offshore fishing out of it , and like it better the more I use it . Especially the 4 or 5 MPG !
