C-Dory 22' Center Console fishing machine

I had a chance to climb on a new 22' Center Console fishing machine this past weekend.
The Dealer at Channel Islands Harbor (Catalina Yacht Anchorage) has one on display.
From a fishermans point of view---- NICE :thup
I do, however, have one complaint---- the "bait tank" or "live well" is way too small for saltwater fishing. It might be big enough to hold a few minnows if you were lake fishing, but nowhere big enough to hold a scoop of sardines or anchovies.
With the Honda 90, I bet it will scoot- you may have to get a pilots license to fly low.

To each his own! That baby looks like something (JAYNE) drove under the semi.

Mike-

You must already understand that every family has to have at least one member that isn't a

movie star

looker

ringa-dinga-dinger

in it somewhere, right?

Just consider it a cute cousin with a bit of homely thrown in, OK?

Ok, Ok maybe my last statement was a little hatchety, and I bet the market share analysis shows a real need for these things. But just let your natural affections take over when you look at the photo you provided Joe. Where is your lustful eye drawn, yep I bet your just like me, your looking into the 2nd and 3rd row.
Hey, I got an idea :idea
As easy as it was for me to get that little blurb in the recent Passage Maker, i'll just call my old friend Natalie up and get er to run a post article special on the one that was missed. They would, after all make a great dingy for a 75 ft Flemming!
P.S, good catch on the Jayne thing, you guys are so smart, it makes me want to hang out here all the time!
Mike

Looks like you guys took a "mean pill" before commenting on the center console model. If your not use to seeing very many of these beast in your areas, I guess I can understand your points of view. But for us who see more of these critters then you can shake a stick at, I don't think C-Dory will have to much trouble selling them down south if they keep the price in the same ball park as the Pandas, Mavericks, Century and all the rest.

There is lots of room in the transom well to add a real bait well.

Actually, I think it's a lot better looking than some of the other center consoles, but it's a fun topic!

HEY !!! MAYBE WE NEED A BIG DEBATE OVER WHETHER TO EQUIP THE NEW C-DORY CENTER CONSOLE WITH

1. TWINS AND A SINGLE BIG BAIT TANK, OR....

2, A SINGLE AND TWO SMALLER BAIT TANKS SO YOU COULD CARRY TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF BAIT?

Still confused on Shasta Lake,

Joe :?

Fishtales, what was the price of the boat you looked at.... I saw one at the charleston,s.c. boat show on march 30th., which i think was hull number one..It was priced at i think $ 43,000 with a 115 hp Suzuki and a single axle trailer.. I was not able to climb aboad but peeping over the sides the boat it appeared small on the inside because of the liner...I tried to get jeff at C-Dory to build me a 25ft. center console with a porta potty in the center console.. We all use boats for different reasons and we have never put a hook in the water.. We load our skiff a Sundance 22ft center console with about 6 to 10 people and go sight seeing or out to eat>>In fact we just got back from a 4 1/2 hour eating trip....We like the flat bottoms such as the Sundance and C-dory for the travel that we do on the intercoastal waterway but we need a john in the center console...Now back to the C-dory center console.. We looked at a lot of center consoles at the boat show for a lot less money and some had more room inside...Time will tell but i think it will be a slow seller.. We are still in love with our 25ft C-dory.... Keep you life jacket on.... Tucker

We have an 18 foot Century Bay CC, with 115 hp--cost about $25,000 with no trailer--although a little smaller, looks to have about the same internal room?? The $38,000 is not out of line for that size of boat.

We have the portipotty under the foredeck hatch--just put a tarp up for the family to use.
