Hi fellow C-Brats,

This is Peter, skipper of C-Dancer. My wife Caryn and I will be taking delivery of our 22' Cruiser on Friday morning and we're extremely excited.

Ever since we first ordered our boat at the Seattle Boat Show and then discovered this site, I've been obsessed at the thought of being a C-Dory owner and trying to learn all I can about CD's. I must confess I have no boating experience and am a total novice but I have picked up so much good advice since joining this site. I'm sure I'll learn a lot more as I get experience on the water but it's good to know that there is such a great resource online.

We will be storing C-Dancer at Twin Bridges and I've heard there are already a lot of C-Brats over there already. We plan on doing a lot of cruising and fishing, we already bought a pair of Scotty 1106's. Thanks to all of you for sharing your knowledge and I look forward to meeting some of you on the waters of Puget Sound and the San Juans. And I'm sure I'll be picking your brains about all kinds of things down the line. :D

Welcome to the pub Peter, and congratulations on the new boat. We are awaiting our new 25 and just sold our 22 (now named Spirit) to Jo and David in Helena. We live on Guemes Is. which is about 15 minutes from Twin Bridges as you head out to the Guemes Channel. We will look forward to meeting you on the waters.

Hi, Peter. We know the feeling. Hey, Bambina's sweet 16 tomorrow and I still feel the voltage of semi-newness.

If you love the water, you'll forever appreciate your boat. And your bonus prize: Friendly Brats with whom to play.

Wow Catman - that makes the boat almost as old as you are....

Congratulations!
I know the feeling. We will have a new 22' sometime in April We are here on the right coast, maryland...chesapeake bay.
I've owned 8 boats over the period 1972 to now...this site, and this boat have captivated me . The support here has been phenomenal...and i don't use that word often. Takes you back to the old days when a product really was backed up by real people.

Enjoy the delivery!

Hello all.
I am posting my message here also, hoping to reach the the most people.
We are looking for a mid 80's to mid 90's 22 C-Dory cruiser.
We live in the Florida Keys (Tavernier) but will buy a C-Dory from most anywhere.
Please let us know if you know of any.
Thanks,
Larry and Ellen O'Blander

welcome a board. we launch the Susan E from twin bridges all the time so i will keep a look out for you. its a great jumping off place to the islands and canada.

Peter and Caryn, Welcome to you both. I am very excited for you as the adventure begins with C-Dancer. I have had my boat for almost one year now, and it remains magical each and every day that I spend time on the water. We have had an incredible winter for cruising, and I hope it continues into the spring and summer.

If you can, you should follow some of your fellow c-brats down from up north, and join us at Jarrell Cove in a few weeks. It will be a good time, and the gatherings provide time to visit and time to"pick brains" as you say.

Enjoy, Enjoy. Look forward to meeting you both. Robbi

We second (third?) all that the others have said! You have not just bought a boat, you have bought into the greatest bunch of people in the world! Twin Bridges is a great jumping off place for the San Juans and Gulf Islands, but hope you won't be bashful about trailering to the South Sound, Lake Chelan or Lake Roosevelt, there are some great spots beyond the San Juans for sure!
