Byrdman Has A Small Stroke

Patrick,

Get well soon, cause there is a whole lot of boatin' and partying left to do!

Byrdman - you have such a knack for telling funny stories; I think God wanted you with him so he could enjoy them as much as we do. However, when he found out how much we love you and enjoy your stories, he decided to let you stay a while longer.

When you get better, come visit. I need a good laugh too.

Byrd - we met only briefly at the Factory Party in '07, but it was great to connect the messages with a real person. I too was hoping you were talking about a small kicker, as opposed to a whack on the side of the head.

I was amazed at the 'tude that came through in your message, although from all I've read in the past this should not have come as a surprise. Sounds like your doc has a similar outlook, so you have a good match there. 'Bedside manner' can come in all sizes, shapes, and personalities; what really matters is rapport, and respect, and it sounds like you've got that covered.

Take care --> lots more boating and beer kegs in the future. :thup

Wow man sorry to hear this !! If it means anything to you I think your spelling has improved though.
Do what I say not what I do.
Don't get anxious and get going too soon friend. That is where the real danger hides! You should at least set a personal record for number of consecutive days staying home. Ben Franklin said "A friend close by is better than a brother far away." You have been the friend close by to many people. We are here for you. Just give a call or e-mail an X and we will call you back!!!
Cathy and I love you more than family and have you and your bride in our prayers and thoughts !

Wow Really glad your doing ok ! I bet it was all that heat in the ribs you cooked ! No really we are sorry to hear you had a stroke but glad to hear you passed through with flying colors ! EVERY DAY ABOVE GROUND IS A GOOD DAY.. !

byrdman,
you've got to stop drinking that cheap beer. get the good stuff, miller light!
linda and i are in nashville, if there's anything we can do JUST GIVE US A CALL. MY CELL IS 513-646-8153.
can't believe what has happened to you, maybe it was the heated ribbs or worst yet, terry's deer dogs. deer dog's just ain't right!
hopefully you have your horn with you to attract all the attractive nurses hovering over you!
let us know how you're doing, i have confidence in your complete and full recovery.
as always, best regards,
your friends,
pat and linda

Patrick, Bob and I know that Byrdman's wings will be restored and you'll be back "soaring with the Eagles" very soon. He's got your attention now --
don't sweat the small stuff.

Your ears must be burning --- as I write Bob's talking to Les. We are in agreement what everyone has written, especially Oldgrowth Dave and Jim on Wild Blue. Writing on the forum to us C-Brats will be great therapy all the way around.
We're thinking about you and praying for you and your family.
Bob & Betsy

Get well fast!!! I've been learning from and enjoying your posts ever since I entered C-Dory-land. Hope you're back to 110% rapidly.
David on Lucky Day

Byrdman,

Wow, Sorry to hear about the stroke. Small maybe, but nothing you ever bargined for I'm sure. Glad your back to the Brat society, your sense of humor intact, and with your ability to stay on track and persevere, you will be 110%+ in no time. Looking forward to lots more good therapy for all of us, You typing and us laughing, and especially to another late night round table at the Hawthorne next SBS CBGT. Sounds like you and your Doc are on top of it. Stay with it OK. Lots of prayers from the SleepyC crew for you and your family.

Patrick,
They say there is a silver lining in every cloud. A small stroke is telling you take your meds so you don't have the big one. A small leak in the tire is much better than a blow out.
Take care now.
Darrel

Byrdman,

Get well man. We need you. We have not even met yet, so until, you have to keep going. You and I have a mutual friend, Terry who owns the LAST DANCE. Maybe in the future, we can all get together.

Fred

Byrdman,
Sorry to hear about your stroke. ALan and I have tied up to the Waterford dock and Hugh came by on kayak and told us. Hang in there and do what the doctors tell you.

Byrdman, you are in our Prayers, we know the Big Boss Upstairs is looking after you  We all had a great time with you this weekend, and we will be Cruising more before long, it may take a little time but you will be back to 110% before long :thup

Hey Patrick, Glad to hear you are doing ok. We couldn't believe it.
Follow your Dr's orders so you can get out on the noodle where you belong!
We think of you every time we mount our noodles! Shoot us an email whenever you feel ready for a phone call. The lake is not the same without you and that floppy old boonie hat!
Love
Rick and Donna

Byrdman,

Hope you recover well sitting on the boat on Old Hickory Lake, sipping whatever the doctor ordered and enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. I know I can make you relax if you come and visit.
