Buying a C-Dory and want talk about it with someone

OK lets see if I did this right . . . Below are (should be) links to photos of my currently un-named vessel: I do not pick up the boat until the end of October so I will not have it for the Sequim Gathering . . . but needless to say I have a pretty good feeling about this . . . kind of like the first time I took hallucinogenics.

P S - Thanks for your help oldgrowth

Cool, that should provide hours of fun time and adventure. It sure is hard to believe that boat is about 20 years old...these things sure age well

C-Devert-

Cool BIG looking boat pictures!

From the looks of the house and the boat, could be named the

Red Roof Inn

and then you could get the motel chain to sponsor you and pay for your expenses!

Sea Wolf, I spent countless summers (16 consecutive, I believe) as a misguided adult, migrating to Lake Shasta for an annual Houseboating event - doing things that are now permanently etched into my DNA.

Originally from Sacramento, I have now transplanted, and plan to be for ever more to the base of the Olympic Mountain Range - God's country for sure - just glad to be renting space on this part of the planet . . .

As far as the house in the background, it belongs to the fellow I bought her from. . . There is a Red RANCH Inn here in Sequim, Used to be about the only motel game in town. . . . . I personally thought "Dead Ahead" was quite creative . . .I only wish I had thought of it for my own.

C-Devert:

Thanks for the fill-in! Sounds like you're just another one of us C-Brats! Welcome to the firay!

Sorry to have hijacked the thread! Gonna have to tone down the War with Pat...

I'm not really a lost in space ex-hippie, just a retired high school teacher and sophomoric wise-guy who really prefers technical topics, but sometimes gets lost in social discourse and humor to relieve the nerdish boredom of tech-talk.

This site is the greatest place around, and we form friendships that transcend the limits of cyberspace, hence wind up joking with and teasing each other in ways that might seem out of line or called for, but they are actually a testament to how much we like and know each other.

You'll really enjoy the get-together at Sequim. You'll get to see all the boat types and people types as well. C-Dory means fun. You can't find a better group of ready-made friends!

I'll be quiet now and go to the Over-Posting Penalty Box.

Joe.
