I just inspected my GPS antenna and I see no flaws in the mount. Last night when I looked at the pix of your antenna in your photo album, I noticed three things different on yours than mine.
1). It appears that you have the "tall cabin roof".....Yes? / No?
2). It appears that your antenna may be longer than the 2 foot antenna on mine......Yes? / No?
3). Your radar arch appears to be taller than mine.
Given all of the above possible differences, I too was wondering if there was some "wind turbulence effect" that is different that what I am experiencing.
Another consideration, might be that since I tow with the big Dodge Ram Diesel, I would suspect that my tow rig pushes such massive amounts of air out of the way when I'm cruising down the road, that there is absolutely no wind that reaches the boat or the antenna that could cause a problem. :wink
