bow thruster being installed today

ok, i'm really excited. florida bow thruster has arrived at my office parking lot this morning, my un-named boat is resting on her trailer waiting for her new bow thruster. i have purchased a vetus 3512 electric bow thruster, (upon hearing dr. bob speak about it) including a remote control, (that's going to be fun). there is a two man crew, one is the electric guy and the other is a fiberglass person. both seem to be very professional. i will take pictures as the sh-t hits the fan. yesterday i had cincinnati sea ray install an overboard discharge system, including a y valve. next will be the radar system, which capt. mattie will help me with, well, capt. mattie, in case you read this post, i'm just about out of money so please sharpen your pencil.
best regards
to all

ps: this is the last boat!

well i sold the c-dory to a fellow who lives in idaho. then, several weeks ago, we purchased a 28' sundancer and it's the sundancer that's getting the bow thruster. i had two bids, one from eastcoast bow thrusters for 6900 plus tax and then from florida bow thrusters for 5600. went with florida. the hole is now cut, have pictures, pretty interesting how they did that, will post them soon. my c-dory dues are paid for 2010 so thought i'd continue to be part of the family. if TyBoo and Da Nag renew my membership for 2011, then i'll be here until they drag the last dog out!
best regards

no sir, i enjoy this forum and all the guys and gals that post. we all share the passion of boating, the joy of casting off and cruising on our own as well as with others. i wouldn't change a thing on this site. if we didn't challenge each other from time to time we would stagnate the learning process. i enjoy the serious conversations but also find much pleasure in the humor, when presented.
we are a cast of characters, no doubt! this group of outstanding people are far greater than just a particular boat brand! definitely started as such but has evolved into far more.
so, where would i go anyways? bayliner forum?
bow thruster guys will be at my office tomorrow morning at 7:30 and i will greet them with coffee and donuts!
have a great weekend.

Coffee and Donuts will ensure a good installation. We did that for the 6 months it took the crew to finish our modular house in early 2008. A big urn every morning at 7AM along with donuts or cookies or something else. They would do anything we asked and we are still good friends with many of them. One of them is living in our apartment over the garage.

I plan to have a good weekend, gotta go cut grass this morning though before it gets too hot. I think it may be too late already! Got three grandkids coming tomorrow for Grammy Camp 2010!

But you can't fool the grandkids! To them your soft and cuddly :hug2 :love , no matter how much you pay your old swabbie mates to say how tough and hard you were. :wink
