The Beagle crew plan to tour western Montana in September. At first we were considering renting a motor home, but are now considering talking Beagle, and camping and boating.

How are the lakes in Sept? Drained? Any high-mountain lakes we should consider? How far east do you have to go before you can boat the Missouri?

Thanks for all replys.

If fishing was involved, I would go for Clark Canyon res, outside Dillon MT.

We are in Bozeman currently, (in the R V, with kayak & 9.5' inflatable
and I'll ask about places other than Sealy, glacier and flathead, which we are familiar with.

Hi Ron,

I sent you a PM. Yellowstone Lake Marina closes Sept 9th but the lake is open thru Oct. We will be there with another 4 C-Dories over Labor day weekend. Maybe you would like to join us.

We are currently at Canyon Ferry Lake. Thereis a lot of algae in the water, so not real attractive.
