Boaters World Store Credit

I was at Boaters World yesterday checking out Radar units. In conversation I told the saleman I had purchased a new boat. He told me that Boaters World had a deal for new boat owners that refunded you $36 in store credits for each $100 you spent within the first 45 days of a boat purchase. You have to show them a dated bill of sale to qualify. This seems like a really good deal. Strange thing after talking to the saleman he turned out to be a childhood friend I hadn't seen in 45 years but thats another story.

Fisheries Supply offers a discount (varies with type of merchandise; e.g., very little on electronics) to new boat owners. I seem to remember Worst Marine also offering something similar.

I believe you were misinformed. Boaters World's Captains Club usually gives you $12 in store credit for every $300 you spend. When you buy a new boat they triple that on most items to $36 for every $300 you spend.

I ordered a Furuno 1715 from them and will pick it up in a few days. Perhaps I misunderstood the deal. Either way their normal price was in line with the on-line deals I found then you get the store credit on top of that.

West Marine in Olympia gave me the new boat owners discount when they found out I cut my boat in half and added two feet to it.

Fisherman's Marine & Outdoor offers an at the counter discount of 10%. Provided what your buying isn't on sale already. The nice thing about this is that you don't have to wait to the next purchase to get your discount. :thup
