Boat Lettering

We were wondering if anyone could recommend a good local place to get vinyl boat lettering done. We would like to get the name on the new boat, and the place we used last time has gone out of business. Any recommendations?

Hey Patrick & Kim! Back in the 96-98 timeframe I used a company in GA for my lettering needs.
I met the couple Chuck & Shelley Reagin at the Charleston Harbor gathering for the American Great Loop organization in 2007.

They did several boats for me and only had a font issue with one order. They corrected the problem and FedEx new package right away, no charge, no fuss, no problem. From the time I opened the bad one until I had the new correct one in hand was like less than 48 hours.

Neat web site where you design you own. Have not talked or done any business with them since late 2008, but if I needed lettering today, I would hook up with them. Looking back in old ordering emails... their phone number was 800-985-7710. Web site:

May or may not want to give them a look see. If you hook up tell them Byrdman said Hey! They may not even remember me, but I remember their work and service.

Patrick & Kim,
A co-workers wife runs this company in Snohomish. Streamline Digital Imaging. They have a lot of experience with outdoor signage and other stuff as well. I am going to use them for my boat lettering too!

Good Luck!

Only about 45 minutes away from you is the shop I just used to do our name. Very reasonable and they installed it. Huge flybridge name and Stern on our Tollycraft and it was more reasonable than I though it was going to be.

Speciality in Bellingham,

They sent the proofs I approved and then they installed it. Great customer service and quick turn around. Also should you find yourself up here in Bellingham there's always a cold beer for a C-Brat.

Cheers

There are several places a web search will find you that do self stick "Gerber" letting. You can specify colors, fonts, offsets, shadows, etc.

I got mine at doityourselflettering.com. It was easy, inexpensive (compared to some others) and shipping was pretty quick.

My dads company does signs of all kinds, including vehicle lettering. They are in Arlington. Shoreline Sign and Awning. They are my favorite! Tell em Kevin sent you...

Hi Patrick, I just had mine done in Burlington. 7 inches x 30 inches in marine vinyl at the shop in I-5 Auto World at the end of Hopper Rd. If you take Hopper rd coming from Arlington turn left like you are going to the car dealers and just go straight across through the stop sign and they set right at the end. Cost me $42.00 including tax and it only took about an hour or so for them to do both sides of the boat name. Nice job also. It is called Image 360 299 0430. Tina was the gal that took the order...
