Best navigation system

I just got my Furuno navigation system from www.Boats.net and it works like a charm. We can't wait to cross Lake Okeechobee and test it out for a long stretch.
 
Furuno is a good mfg. I hope you have the map installed for Lake Okeechobee. Did you get the 3D version?

The key to those navigation systems is practice, with the radar, with the route planner, with the chart plotter. before you need it. Take the instruction manual along. Use the radar in broad daylight. Plan routes where you know them by heart. Practice.
