Best money I've ever spent

Well, although our 25 was still in pretty good shape, I had a fiberglass professional come in and go over her top to bottom.

He spent a full 4 days going over her with a fine tooth comb. He repaired a few small gelcoat dings, refilled a few surface air bubbles on the coat, sanded the entire hull, compounded and waxed everything. He used an acid to clean a few stains.

I dare anyone to say this '08 doesn't look as good as one that just came out of the factory.

It was pricey, but this guy deserved every penny.

Nice. I wouldn't mind having similar work done to my boat. They did a full wax on her before I bought her but I definitely noticed some dings and scratches when I pulled her out last weekend.

How much did you pay? Approximately.

Oh man, it's incredible how different costs are for these kinds of services.

Up north here that would be a steal. I'd bet that kind of thorough attention and time would cost 5x that. You did very well.

Buy him a plane ticket from NC and pocket the difference.

I've finally figured out how to post some pics in my album. Take a peek

That would be a steal here in BC too. They're asking that much just to wax a 25' hull without any glass work at all.

Sounds like a great deal. I spent $375 on my 22 just for a compound rub and a waxing, done in one day; it was a good job.
