BC Closes all Provincial Campsites to Nonresidents this Year

BC, like Alberta is closing all of it's provincial campsites to non-residents this year. I have not been able to confirm if the Provincial Marine Parks will follow the same rules, but I assume they will. The Canada/US border will remain closed until at least June 21 and probably longer. So it's time to play at home kids. I have already cancelled one of my trips to BC and likely will not go for my second trip later this year. My trip to New Mexico in the fall is also off. So I'm stuck in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Alberta. Lots to do here, just wish the weather was better sometimes.

FYI if you are or have been considering making reservations in BC for their provincial parks.

From the link in Peter's post:
"BC Parks said in a statement on Thursday that non-B.C. residents who already have reservations should call before June 15 to cancel and receive a full refund.

Reservations made after next Monday by non-residents will be subject to immediate cancellation without refund."

Nice to have a boat and anchor. No sites required and hoping we can get up there again in August. Right now, we are settling for a sunny evening at Sucia at the start of a long boating weekend.
