Have any of you Columbia River boys ever been into Bat Water Station.
I have done a bit of research and the place looks like it has a bunch to ofer.
It is down river from Longview and up a slough on the Oregon side of the river, kinda on the up side of Crims Island.
Anyway if anyone has some first hand dealings there I would be very interested in hearing what you have to say.
Thanks

I had never heard of the place. Looks neat. Thanks for pointing it out - I might want to go there to get away from the crowd in Warrenton. Here is what is in my home port. These two rows of so called guide boats are just part of them. There are at least that many more scattered around the marina. It wouldn't be so bad but 80% of the guys running them are jerks out on the water and at the dock.

Never heard of this place. But here it is: http://www.batwater.com/index.html

It is behind Crims. Have not been down that channel in years. Wonder how much moorage they have. Photos are limited of that. Supposed to be on Facebook also. As to deep water moorage, likely true where their floats are, but IIRC, gets kinda thin if you exit via the upriver end of that channel.
