My brother just moved to Baltimore and bought a house on the Northwest Harbor. I was thinking of a Baltimore harbor (NOAA 12281) navigational chart as a house warming gift. The chart would be mainly for decorative purposes since he does not have a boat. Since I have only boated inland, I don't know much about official coastal navigational charts. I found the following links:

The first link is what this company sells, and the second link is a description. Does anyone have a recommendation regarding a print on demand vs. a government lithographed paper chart? The second link talks about some people preferring the lithographed chart for decorative reasons. Any idea what size these charts are? Since they can be laminated, I am assuming they must not be folded and are shipped rolled in a tube. Laminated sounds like they way to go.
I know these are basic questions, but if anyone can offer some insight or a recommendation, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
