The Highline band is doing a outdoor concert at the Ballard Locks this Saturday at 2:00 pm. Chuck, of the 22 footer Bootleg Hootch, will be there with his sax. The Ballard Locks is a wonderful destination for anyone that likes boats, locks, fish ladders, and flowers! On the weekends they have concerts by local music groups. And, believe it or not, it's all free. Well, parking cost a minimal amount, except on Sunday, when it too is free. If you haven't been, go. There is something for everyone. If you have been there, go again, you know what I mean. See you there.
 
And there's the Totem House (now a Red Mill!) across the street for burgers and fish 'n chips, and the Sloop down the block for giant beers!
