When I bought the F350 in 2012 there were two axle ratios and two tire/rim sizes. The higher number axle ratio came with 18" rims and the lower number ratio came with 20" rims. The effective ratio turned out to be the same for both combinations.

I'm in the process of putting a 2015 5.0 Coyote engine in a '51 Ford F1 Panel truck I'm restoring. Paired with a 4R75E transmission and a '72 Ford 9" 3.5 rear end and 16" rims. I hope I can get over 20 MPG.
