For those of you who didn't notice a problem - congratulations on using a modern browser that adheres to standards. For the rest of you, I'll dumb down the graphics.
So what is going on hear. I know IE pounds in the chop but all browsers are a compromise. All you have to do is slow down. You can keep your big go fast browser but I will stick to IE, anyway it is cute. Also Robbin tells me it will be better next time.

holy guacamole, Batman! I think we should just avoid the Bat computer entirely! I think the Riddler AND the Joker have taken charge of it!

I like my IE because of its simplicity, it can slog through the rough stuff at a slow speed when some of the other faster browsers head for home, and I can customise it to reflect my individuality and needs.

S N A P !!

I hear they are making a new browser at the old Microsoft office down in Kent that looks a LOT like IE...some former Microsofties...

Pat- Now THAT's funny!

Good thread, I don't know anything about Firefox or any of that techno stuff but I was drawn to the thread by the word "Avoid" and got a few chuckles out of it.........one thing I do know is you have to consider the dealer support aspect of things. I drove by the local Firefox dealership a few weeks ago and it was nothing but a store front in an industrial type strip mall. I don't see how you could rig, sell and service anything there...wheren't much more than a PO box

I thought Firefox was Greg's dingy.

Avoid firefox? Now them's fightin' words to this unixoid, open source, java code slinger

I use firefox all the time, don't know why its been givin me fits on C-Brats so much lately :!: I may do a test, and compare it to IE, to see if that helps. Maybe it ain't just this site. I got word there is a new firefox on the way...)
Many times I "head home" and come back later, just can't do much sometimes. :( is it being a modem user, thats screwing up the performance. Don't know much about the internet, I'm really into more manly things like welding, wrenchin-on-crap, boating and snowmachinin :P :xnaughty

You mean there's something other than IE? :D

"Life's too short to surf with an ugly browser."

Now that made me laugh!

For those using IE for various reasons (stuck with it, prefer it, whatever) check out AvantBrowser at http://www.avantbrowser.com

No affilation, yada yada. Avant is a freeware tabbed browser, etc. Makes IE tolerable and then some.

... and it was graduated to just that!

Have switched-back to IE as my "ship".

Still I can not navigate C-Brats with Firefox. Compared them side-by-side (and I was a big FF fan) I went back to "MSN" .... looks like for good!

Maybe when we go DSL; I'll find 'FF superior again :?:

'FF is good on my MSN site, but here, it hangs-up constantly for some reason. I was thinking the taxing of the "private server" here, is noticed by us modem users
:amgry

Been using FF for about 3 years now and haven't had any problems with this site though we are connected with a 3meg DSL....

Huh? Why not? Anytime I'm surfing C-brats I'm using Firefox.

And its no joke I said FF hangs up almost constantly here  have you got any constructive hints to make it so it works as good here as IE :? I ain't claimin ta be no puter-nerd :o
FF used to work here, but something happened to it, or this site.
Going back to IE... I prefer the browser-tabs to the side. Holds way more, without having to do the little expand-trick, you have to do in FF :thdown
Anyway, vert trivial, don't matter if ya came back with an answer really. And it ain't no foolin, I have switched to IE for this site . After the storm-----a rainbow :rainbow order out of chaos... (that means turning off the puter and doing more constructive things)
