Glad to report a happy ending to a difficult situation. The kind gentleman who won the Ebay auction this summer for the pretty new loaded C-Dory 16 is on his way cross-country TODAY to pick it up. All's well that ends well. Everybody doing the right thing - everybody happy.... AS THE WORLD TURNS - Ebay Saga From Summer... It's over...

Hi to all,
This is my first post although I have peeked in for some time now. I am about to be the proud new owner of the above mentioned 16 foot C-Dory from Mediaman. Me and My Wife are leaving Las Vegas (our home) in the morning to pick up the boat. We spend our winters in Mexico where it's warm, so the boat will get lots of fishing time in the Sea of Cortez.
I only know 3 people so far that own C-Dorys (including Mediaman), And they all seem to be good people.
We Hope to meet more C-Dorians in the months and years to come.

Sounds like you've got some great plans for the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez during winter.
Those plans have got the folks in the northern half of the U.S. green with envy!

Thanks for the warm welcomes. We plan to make several of the gatherings (if they fall outside the winter trip). I am particularly interested in the Lake powel or perhaps someday a lake Meade gathering.
Also very interested in the Bahama trip, But that's another bigger C-Dory and a later time.
We're getting on the road now. It's a long trip to North Carolina and back, But just another of lifes excellent adventures.
