I am leaving in the morning to go to North Carolina...to pick up a motorcycle with sidecar...and realized at the last minute...that my computer does not have a City Navigator disk....so I am unable to download the roads on the east coast..... I have the west...but need to load the east....
I can not load City Navigator NT... the 276C uses a non-NT version..
I am riding to Vermont then home across the top of the US...Need maps.

Thanks

I've used a 276C for years, and don't understand your question.
The basemap should be fine for navigating and most routing, unless you need enhanced neighborhood resolution.

I have always used mine with the basemap, and the Topo USA overlay map...never a problem.

Perhaps I'm not understanding your question.

Well, ain't nothing sweeter than a Vermont ride on a motorcycle...

Except, maybe swing up to Mt. Washington (NH) before you head home...

But, the 276C basemap is only lacking in a few areas (Rt.7 near Manchester VT is still notably absent, for example).

Yes, i have a 276c which i used only one time and has been on the shelf for about 2 or 3 years.... i leave in north carolina just about 10 miles from myrtle beach ,sc..

Thanks...But not needed now.... I gave up and borrowed a friends Garmin 550.... it has the whole USA on it's city maps... my Garmin 276C does not have enough memory to hold the whole country.....
I am now in a Quality Inn in Gettysburg.... funny story...depending on one's outlook..... I got to North Carolina to find the sidecar rig I bought 5 months ago....not ready...I think they started just hours before I arrived...we worked on it three days trying to get it hooked up....at the end it waddled like a duck...at 5 mph and like a bucking horse at 15mph...not good... finally the shop owner said...take my bike...so I did... except it's a HARLEY..... what a blast...like riding on the hood of a P51....lots of noise...makes ya think about getting a tatoo...and beating up someone.... real macho machine.... I rode it to Vermont...had a great time...but really hot weather....and I can't ride for long distances...one day I rode 320 miles and was trashed...most days I make about 200 miles... went to Ilium NY to see the Remington factory...and now the Gettysburg battlefield....hopefully when I get back to North Carolina they will have my bike done and I can start riding toward California
