I took a quick look to see if anyone posted on this already, and didn't see anything...so, if this is a repeat, my apologies.

There is a very nice article in the new PassageMaker (Nov/Dec 2012) entitled, "The Big Attraction of Small Boats". Lots of discussion about folks downsizing from much bigger boats, how versatile these of ours boats are, and the virtues of lower operating costs, etc. C-Dory, TomCat, Ranger, and Rosborough are all discussed. The fellow writing the article is George Sass, Sr., proud owner of a TomCat purchased from Wefings.

Pretty cool.

I'll have to go and get that issue. There was an article about smaller boats and down sizing in Nov Dec 2009, and one on Bill and El on 2007. I think that there was another article on C Dorys in PMM in the past.
 
Man, now I really wish I had stopped by the bookstore on my way home from work. The newest issue doesn't look like it has hit Google Play yet, to read on the tablet. Soon!
