anchoring and bad weather

In order to get phone reception you have to be able to see Navajo mountain. That is where the cell tower is for Verizon. A T & T is less coverage or roming in the Southern part of Powell. Once you know what Navajo mountain looks like, then you can know if you will have reception.

I have seen houseboats anchored in that fashion but never knew exactly the nuts and bolts of how they did it. I have anchored to a shore by the bow once before with my pontoon boat in Colorado and had the wind come and blow me parallel to the shore...big pain. Now I see how to handle that situation correctly and safely. Thank you for the info.
