All weather dinghy - pretty cool

It does look nice but when it's raining and you need this to stay dry, the wind is usually blowing, sometimes hard and this will act just like a sail on a boat with not much displacement. :shock:

Could get very exciting! :lol:

Crazy-looking thing, but the Willow will Weep for anyone trying to look out those small windowettes. I think I'd want radar on mine...

Now there is a good reason to buy a bigger boat - Just so you can store that thing on the roof! I already know my wife's reply, "Just wear your foul weather gear!"
 
Talk about windage! That will go faster down wind than the outboard will push it (inversely, you will not be able to go to weather with a small motor).

That enclosure would be just the ticket to keep the sun off my old weather beaten sailor's skin? (Dr.'s Orders!)

I wonder how hot it would be inclosed in there in 114 degree heat on Shasta Lake with 82 degrees of water temperature?

Do you suppose one could make i from marina to marina (beer stop to beer stop, the way the tourists think around here) alive?

Joe, only if it's got a big cooler built into it! You coming to SBS10? Need to make reservations soon, near Sea Sport or the show? Somehow we gotta get Dusty there, he'll be our Nonagenarian (or something like that) by then I think! :love
 
I'd call it an ingenious solution to a non-existent problem! With all of the other problems aside, I would rather store foul weather gear than try to find a place to stow that monstrosity!
