LOL...found it during my daily C Dory classifieds search. They even state that the manufacturer was C Dory.

Clipper Craft are pretty boats but everyone I looked at had dry rot. You can see paint failure in one picture at a hull plank butt joint. If they are kept under cover (no rain allowed to stand in the boat) they hold up OK. There was a brand new never been used older boat that a dealer had for sale with fresh out of the box Hondas and here is ad old add from the Bloody Decks site for a great looking 23': https://www.bdoutdoors.com/forums/threa ... ld.536392/

I’ve heard the same about rot, but suspect that storage played a part as you mentioned.

The old/new CC was just up the road from us. Nice looking boat. It either sold or has gone to another site.

Wandering: Too much wood. An overall lack of upkeep. And a gas I/O motor. Not exactly my idea of a good time.

For the price, it’s potentially a good deal for a wooden boat enthusiast. I suspect it will sell for much less. Yes, it’s work to keep a woodie in good shape, but a lot of people enjoy that.

This one hangs around over at Friday Harbor. I have only seen it off the dock one time, several years ago.
