Alaska Series Motor Bracket

Thank you CC for adding my photo. Just wanted to share that I had an aluminum motor brackett fabricated by a local welder to replace the stock bracket. The stock bracket had rusted and rust stained the gelcoat on the cabin top. It ran about $200 but is stronger, rustproof and about the same weight. Duplicates may be a bit cheaper as he now has a pattern. If anyone is interested send me a pm. Ken

We have the TDS 220. I could not tell from their website if the tenders had a common tube diameter. Your cheapest option might be to take your steel bracket to a local welder. I considered stainless but cost and weight won out. The aluminum is much easier to take on and off, mostly because it is not corroded. Good luck. Ken

I have decided to build my own as well. I should have the new boat in a week or so and be able to model the bracket after the supplied one. I will make it out of aluminum as well.

Thanks
