Advantages of C-Dory ?

I want to echo the comments of the people regarding I/Os versus outboards. I owned a hardtop Trophy which I loved but it had an I/O. That was pure hell. I'll never own another boat with an I/O. Outboards are more expensive up front but will pay dividends in the long run. And if you have to re power, you go to the dealer, take off the old one and put a new one on. If Bayliner offered the old hardtop trophy with the outboard I'd consider that but they don't. The C Dory 22 or 25 is a much better boat than anything offered on the market now when you consider quality, ease of maintenance, cruiseability, price and boat ownership in general.

One more thing. I have a Ford F 150 1/2 ton with the small V8 in 4x4. I towed my C Dory 22 from Tampa, Fl to Whidbey Island, Wa and didn't even know it was behind me. The 4x4 capability makes launching and recovering a lot easier. I'm moving up to a C Dory 25 and my truck will still handle it.
