Adding photos in chat?

Try this. Find the pic you want in your album, click it up to full size, and then right click on it. Depending on your browser you will have an option to Copy Image Url, Copy Image Address, or something similar. Click that and then go back to the message you are composing.
Paste the image address into the message, highlight it, and then click the Img tag at the top of the text box. Use the Preview feature to be sure it works, and then post it.
A lot easier than it sounds.
Your code in the message as you enter it should look like this:
That gets you this.

I use Chrome (but no longer use a dial-up modem, so you Know I’m really hip). Having tried all your helpful suggestions and several boxes of cheap Chardonnay over a number of months, I respectfully offer that your suggestions just simply does not work with Chrome.
Adjust instructions to:
Copy Image Address as above, but then
Click the preceding your ‘Paste’...
Paste the Image Address or equivalent…
Click the [img] tab again after the end of your Address…
Then use Preview feature as per your instructions.
That seems to work for me. We don’t have any grandchildren to tear through these types of issues to a 60 second Solution, so we must rely on time and wine. Together, our experience has shown that they (time and wine, not grandchildren) can solve many issues that otherwise would require Money and Expertise, each of which we have limited amounts of.
