On thisWednesday,at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again in your lifetime.

You may now return to your normal stuff.

Now I know what the mind does on all those quite nites aboard your boat....it gives you time to come up with stuff like this. That is a good thing....a very good thing.

Actually, it'll happen a year after that but will start with 02 instead of 01. Lots of things happen only once in a lifetime  Fortunately in some cases, less fortunate in others!

Boy, this can be confusing. There are three ways of writing the date using all 2-digit numbers, which should never be done. The 5th of April 2006 can be written as
1. 04/05/06 month/day/year - used by most people but not all.
2. 05/04/06 day/month/year - used by the military and a large part of the population
3. 06/04/05 year/month/day - becoming more and more popular when used with computers.
When I saw 04/05/06, I would not have known if it was the 4th of May or the 5th of April without the other information in his post.
The best way to use a date is 04-Apr-06 or 4-Apr-06. These are clear as to the intent.
Computers use dates for many things and 04/05/06 will even confuse computers. Some times the wrong date will be used from the 04/05/06 format especially spreadsheets and databases. However 4-Apr-06 will always be used correctly and interpreted by people correctly.
01:02:03 04/05/06 will happen twice this year. Once on the 5th of April and again on the 4th of May.

Sure Rick, just figure out where their "house" is there at that time and we'll all gather!!.

Just tell us El and Bill, and we'll all be there!! Where there is a first, second, third and fourth C-Brat, there is always sure to be a "FIFTH".

We should celebrate April 5th (regardless of the time) - it only comes once a year! Um, same for April 6th, the 7th... any good reason works.

I am not sure about that. I am harder on myself than most bosses, although I cant say for sure. I haven't had one since 1969.

What do you do that has you behind a wheel all the time?
