A "new" online magazine

Panbo noted a new online magazine, which has a series on lap top navigation programs, plus a bunch of other interesting articles. There is a 30 day free trial, and subscription is somewhere about $16 a year. I have no interest, but the soft ware series is interesting.

I searched the magazine's site and found this mention of C-Dory:

I didn't sign up for the 30-day trial so I can't tell you what the article says beyond these opening lines:

"Trailerable Boats and Rough Weather
Can Trailerable Boats Handle Rough Weather? One Couple Says Yes—and They Would Know
By Carol-Ann Giroday
Updated December 7, 2007

Trailerable boats offer great flexibility, with their ability to travel in shallower waters and breeze through passages would stop larger boats dead. But there are also limitations, many of which are related to rough seas and heavy weather.

Of course, many trailerable boats have made their reputations as heavy weather craft. Pacific Seacraft’s Flicka, a 20-foot cutter-rigged sailboat, has traveled all over the globe. In the power world, models by C-Dory routinely ply the waters of the San Francisco Bay and other no-nonsense locales."

Yes, that is cool Steve. Sure brought a smile to our faces -- our last two live-aboard boats were the 20' sailboat, Pacific Seacraft Flicka (LaJoya) and the C-Dory 22 (Halcyon) - two marvelous boats!

Going beyond the very small C-dory mention you may find other items of interest.
There were enough interesting article topics to sell me.
Variety, the spice of Life!
