A movie pick for C-Dory couples

Anyone still have a copy of the movie that this thread is about:

"Navigating The Heart!"

Sounds like it might be worth the watching.

Be happy to buy, rent, or borrow if possible.

Thanks,

Harvey

Nice idea Charlie, but Netflix is not yet available here in Canada and, even if it were, I doubt it would be of much practical utility for those of us living on remote islands, with a satellite connection that requires one to dedicate about 20 minutes to watch a 2-minute video. Typically such a thing will run for a few seconds, then stop, showing a message such as "buffering" for a few minutes, then run for a few more seconds and repeat. Rather tedious. Can't imagine trying to watch a movie like that.

I'd be interested in getting hold of a copy, making a few more, and passing them on to other brats.

Not even available by mail? I wouldn't watch it on the 'net either, only use the DVD and then mail it back...

Charlie,

The link you provided take one to a page that introduces Netflix: "unlimited movies and TV episodes over the internet right to your TV and computer". It does not mention a mail service. I trust from your post that there is one.

So yes, if they hold true to their claim that the service is coming to Canada, mail would be a possibility. We get mail here 3 times a week by float plane, weather permitting.

Netflix will mail movies (DVD) to your home/postbox. We have used it for years. It is incredibly fast, getting things turned around in a couple of days. We are big fans. We have the cheapest membership, get one movie at a time$10/mo keep it as long as you want, just mail it in the pre-paid mailer when you're done. We're just finishing watching the BBC mystery series "Foyle's War" one of our favorites. You can find most anything on it.

If you want to buy a dvd version, Amazon and Half.com sells them. 26 bucks and change for new and 17.00 for used. Half.com has a couple of copies, a bit pricier.
