a little beauty for all you paddlers.

That was pretty darn cool... who would've thought someone is out there seriously practicing paddling to music!

OK now you experieced CD owners have something to aspire to! I can see it now, the little C Dory spinning, and listing oh so gently to the strains of some mildly romantic popular tune... the gentle use of those twins (or kicker) in corodinated concert on flat smooth, cool waters turning gracfully in time :P . The 16s might have a slight advantage so scoreing will have to be adjusted accordingly.

I'm just a mere newbie who is still trying to figure out docking without embarresing myself, so I am therefore excluded from competition (for now anyway).

Tom,

That was really cool. I loved it. I have enjoyed solo paddling and have paddled a Loon before. it is like wearing a water glove. Never did it to music, but it made music in my heart.

I still have my OT Tripper. Never give up.

Thanks for finding and sharing.

Well, huh... Whodathunkit? Don't know that I'd drive 20 miles to see it, but it certainly is different...

He does, however, exhibit great control over the craft.

I tried the same thing in a Hawai'ian canoe once, but the outrigger (ama)kept getting in the way.

I too have paddled for years, tandem and solo, and love it. I find it really amusing that people describe canoes as "unstable." There are no unstable canoes; there are only unstable paddlers who don't know what they're doing in a canoe.
