8000 miles through the NW passage in 300 hours

Here's an interesting you-tube video I came across on another site. It's essentially a commercial for Mercury but I thought that some might be interested in the part about going through the NW passage. They started at Newfoundland and ended at Victoria BC - 8000 miles in 300 hours total - average speed 26.7MPH on the water. Triple 300hp mercury verados on a rib. I wonder what the total fuel burn was on that trip?

at 4.20 in the video I noticed that the seats are not on shocks but the entire cabin- seating platform is on shocks. Wild.
