 Out little C Dory is a trooper! We fished the 65th Golden North Salmon Derby this weekend, 36 hours of trolling in 3 days, 14 packs of herring and 30 gallons of gas. Not 1 problem with our boat. Yesterday we were trolling in 2 ft seas and still catching silvers! No complaints about our little C Dory here in Alaska. The weather is unpredictable and abusive and we can still have a great time. :D

That's great. I had my 22 out on Friday and Saturday. Was fishing south Shelter and Pt. Retreat. Heard the bite was on at Douglas. Just started fishing the salt around Juneau this summer and did not have any luck with silvers this weekend. Did find a slow chicken hole and limited out after a while.

Awesome! Always good to know other boaters around town. Seems like the silvers were slow to bite, did you use flashers? I know of some good places in the Douglas area, I could always give you some tips. I bet you boat is sweet. Ours is great, just very tiny, we are looking for a larger C Dory. People really seem to hang on to them! Well this would be a great way to stay in touch, feel free to write anytime. Good luck sailing. The last few days have looked nasty!
