Guys,
I'm so pumped up! The weather in Boston is 60 degrees tmmrow and not too windy. I'm gonna take the boat out one last time before she gets winterized. Can't wait!

Great, Go for it.

In Sequim it is hitting 28 at night, and low 40's in the daytime. It was 26 in Olympia this morning. That half way to Portland OR for me, so I scuttled the motorcycle ride to my sister's. Weather is clear and dry, with a stable high pressure system in place. I'm taking the boat out tomorrow. I have been out some portion of every month this year, ( a goal I set for 2015) and have Nov and Dec to go yet this year.

Enjoy your boat, and your ride. Stay cool 8)

How was it? I bet is seems different with all the deciduous trees bare, etc.! Did the weather cooperate all day?

Sorry you missed out on your bike ride, Harvey, but it is hard to stay warm when it's in the 20's! As I've gotten older, my tolerance for the cold has changed! In my 20's there was no limit; in my 40's I decided no riding in single digit temperatures; now I won't ride until it gets into the 30's!

It was great! Weather was so warm...Still can't believe it. The seas were pretty rough though because of the wind but I didn't care about that. I was just happy to be out there all day. I actually saw some other nuts (I mean boaters!) out there too. Lol. There were a few big sportfishers with flybridges and then other random boats like CC types. I took a few pics. I'll put them in my album.

As to the motorcycle comments it'd be tough to ride this time of year in either my neck of the woods or the PNW. I used to have Gerbings heated gear when I rode on the street; like heated gloves and vest liner etc.

When I was working I rode all year. I only refused to ride when there was black ice. I got caught on it twice. NOT FUN!

I rode every day to work in Portland OR for 5 years, except when it was ICE conditions. Learned to ride very carefully.

Much rather ride in the warm(er) weather though.

I got out for a short ride today. The Harley started right up. I was worried because I didn't have it on a tender. It was pretty cold, but sunny.

I can't believe the mild weather we're having in southern New England this year. It's all upper 50's starting this Friday through Tuesday of next week....This is extremely rare for Boston in December. I'll be out on the boat again! I still haven't winterized her yet.....

Enjoy it while you can! It has been too windy here to do much but hunker down! I saw a young lady trying to jog yesterday; she was being blown out into traffic!

Thanks Rain. Btw, I noticed you finally got your photo album. Nice boat man. I like it.

I "sort of" have it! I picked it up in Portland and dropped it off in Mt. Vernon to have a lot of work done on it! I hope to have a lot more photos in the near future.

We are starting the day at 60's then up to high 70's low 80's it will be a little overcast though in AM . We have been having unseasonable high temp. weather ? We end up paying for this beautiful winter weather with terrible summers everyday in 90's and higher humidity her in SW Florida.

Merry Christmas to all the C-brats and Happy new year Jim

Jim, From the opposite corner, about as far as you can go in Washington, and still have dry feet. Hurricane ridge has a nice new layer of snow, (5000 ft), and we have had rain down lower. Temps in the 40's and some wind. Not nearly as bad here as out on the "real" coast, (see Tyboo'sthread) but lots of flooding, soft ground and trees down in much of western Washington.
