4200 Sealant Storage

Martin, You are welcome to store that bottom paint on the bottom of my boat. It should be good there for about 12 months :roll: :wink:

The freezer trick sounds pretty good. I use my Foodsaver. Works great. And tastes great when I use it next.
 
Well, after two plus years I pulled the tube of 4200 out of the freezer. After sticking a nail in the solid stuff, it flowed like toothpaste. Thanks for this money saving suggestion.
 
Bottom paint--store where it is cooler, but not in the freezer or refrigerator!

While I wouldn't put it in the freezer in fear of it freezing, putting paint in the fridge will make it last a really long time too. I have some POR 15 top coat that is still good after a couple years of sitting in my beer fridge right now. I'm not sure a little fridge time wouldn't do bottom paint good.
