Thank you all very much for your advice and input.
When it came down to it we decided that a Jetcraft with a windshield and canvas cover was the best vessel for dad since the use of the cabin/berth would be minimal and we often like to cast from the bow. Also, we spend a lot of time exploring islands and hidden beaches, so again the ease of acces to the bow would be a factor.
A major factor in our decision was that we will NEVER spend the night on the water and NEVER go out into the ocean. If either of those were realities for us, we would have chosen differently.
Thanks again for your advice and being such awesome people. I can see why there is such a thingas a "C-Dory Community" and why you all enjoy hanging out with one another so much.
