Does anyone on here have any idea how many of these were made and were they could possibly be. I currently have the 22 Cruiser and would like to have one of the 27's but i know that they are rare. I have only seen the one for sale on this site and one a few years back. Any info about these boats would be greatly appriciated. Thanks
 
Cant be sure but I beleive that only a hand full were built. the one for sale now is a interesting boat. Lots of storage in the cabin and below the rear deck. I would love to buy it but just dont have the funds. I would get on the boat and head to alaska today.
The other 27 was a raised pilot house that I want even more but the owner, last I heard, was still in north africa working for the goverment. The boat is in alaska somewhere. I never got to see it in person but would love to have it. Other then a 27 bow picker that was built I dont know of any others. To bad they didn't build more.
 
I think there are quite a few of the CD 27s around. There looks to be at least a dozen on here. Take a look at the Our C-Dorys list (link at top of page) and sort the list by Model.
 
I counted 13 total listed and at least four of those are two different boats. One is a short cab fishing boat that still does not run. Funny thing is that there are only two that have photos??? we need photos.

one is a pilot house
two are long cabs ( like the comet)
No idea what the rest are. One in alaska maybe one of those v-hull anglers.
