I was lucky enough to join the group at the Hontoon Island rendezvous and had a great time meeting everyone and getting to see the different boats in person. My wife and I really appreciated how friendly everyone was, it's a really great group. After seeing all of the different models and having some time to think over the differences, I think its safe to say that the 25 Cruiser seems like the best fit for us in terms of size, towability, and budget.
Can anyone share any thoughts of things to look for in a used 25 Cruiser? Knowing things about better years, years to avoid, common issues to look out for, any kind of advice like that would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure I'll want a survey done when we actually go to buy one, but hearing from people who know more up front would be great. Also learning about feature differences that may not be immediately obvious would be great - for example I learned with the 22 Cruiser how at some point they added a sliding dinette bench which wouldn't be super obvious if you didn't already know.
Knowing if there were any problem years, or better years would be wonderful as well to prevent getting in to a bad situation. It looks like these weren't produced for nearly as many years as the 22 Cruiser and there have been a handful of factory ownership changes, so if there's anything good to know I'd really appreciate it.
